TBSC Launches Santa Cruz Rising and Funds 7 Scholarships.

TBSC launches Santa Cruz Rising and a scholarship program to provide access to self defense classes for locals.  This county wide program teams up with local self defense and martial arts instructors to offer low cost and free classes.

A series of classes that are designed to empower the people of Santa Cruz,  support individuals of all ages in their personal growth.  To elevate our entire community by educating its members about safety, communication skills and self defense tactics.

Upcoming Classes for Teens & Adults:

8/17 – Self defense for men & women 1-4pm Minorsan Fitness
9/14 – FREE Community Self defense 1-4pm Minorsan Fitness

Friday Night Self Defense Series – 6:30-8pm Lairds Academy

Woman’s Self Defense                                                                                                                                                          8/16 – FREE intro to self defense
8/23 – advanced beginners
9/6 – intermediate

Co-Ed Self Defense
9/13 – FREE intro to self defense
9/20 – advanced beginners
9/27 – intermediate

8/17 – Defeating Bullies w/o Fighting (ages 13-17) 12-2pm Laird’s Academy
9/28 – Defeating Bullies w/o Fighting (ages 13-17) 12-2pm Laird’s Academy

8/24 – Bully Breakers (ages 6-8) 1-4pm Minorsan Fitness
8/31 – Bully Breakers (ages 9-12) 1-4pm Minorsan Fitness

All classes are offered for the discounted rate of $15.  Free
scholarships are available upon request.
