Advocating for a Safe and Clean Santa Cruz
Costanoa Commons reached out to TBSC this summer…this non-profit community farm, that will offer a meaningful place for people with developmental disabilities from the surrounding community to work, volunteer and socialize, is having issues with trespassing and illegal encampments.
They are in need of volunteers to start the process of reclaiming the neglected areas of their property. Here is your chance to be part of the solutions!
They are holding a “WORK DAY ON THE FARM” on September 24th. All the details are in the attached flyer.
TBSC supports Costanoa Commons and hopes the community will step up and share their talents. If you can’t make the Work Day on the Farm event, they are also looking for any unused tools, or if you know someone who might like to donate garden items, we can use more shovels, hand trowels, metal rakes, and non-leaky garden hoses.
Please contact Heidi at hcartan@costanoacommons.org if you have items to donate. Thank you!
