Take Back Santa Cruz raises over 3,000 dollars for Special Olympics

IMG_6034TBSC participated once again in the NorCal Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge.  Fun was had by all as team TBSC dashed in the ocean, picnicked on the beach and participated in team games.  This event raises funds and awareness for a great cause.  This is our third year not just participating but helping run the event.  Our very own TBSC Fun Squad leader Rachel Dean organized and ran the raffle prizes bringing in thousands of dollars to the organization.  Team members all agree this was the best year yet!

If you would like to PLUNGE for a purpose, please join us next year as we make more waves in Santa Cruz.

  1. My son is special needs. I had a chance to see Take Back Santa Cruz at the event. What an amazingly nice group of people that care about their community. I had heard all of these weird comments about them, all from people who don’t support PD or have safe neighborhoods as a top priority. I truly support what TBSC stands for. Especially if it is events like this.
