Take Back Santa Cruz

Runner Up – Best Local Non Profit, Good Times 2016

TBSC thanks those who voted for us as Best Local Non Profit!  We are honored to share the runner up category with the Second Harvest Food Bank and congrats to Save our Shores  for a well deserved “Best of”.

Second Harvest Food Bank through their network of more than 200 agencies and programs and over 3,000 volunteers, distribute over 8 million pounds of food annually to working poor families, children, and seniors.

Save our Shores focus is on educating youth about our watersheds, tackling plastic pollution on our beaches and rivers, advocating for plastic-free communities, and managing  the Annual Coastal Cleanup Day in Santa Cruz and Monterey counties. You’ll find SOS staff and volunteers hosting beach and river cleanups all throughout the year!

TBSC, as an all volunteer grass roots community organization that runs on a shoe string budget, is committed to creating awareness and working together to build a better, safer and cleaner Santa Cruz County.
